The Lower Austrian Landesmuseum has acquired works from the Nocturna Benedictina series, through the Department of Culture and Science.
Adding to the collection of Contemporary Art since 1945, the tryptichon depicts aspects of Melk Abbey's magnificent gardens at night, strengthening the collection’s focus on the importance of Lower Austria’s unique natural environment. The mandate of the Niederösterreichisches Landesmuseum is the preservation, expansion, scientific assessment, presentation and administration of the museum's collections. These tasks are to be seen against the backdrop of the social, cultural, art and natural historical importance of the collections for the Province of Lower Austria and its surroundings. An important step in my artistic career, it is reassuring to know these unique photograms are being preserved for and accessible to the public for future generations.
